
Selestine A. Njoga
Selestine A. Njoga holds Bachelor of Commerce (Finance): First Class Honors and a Master of Business Administration Corporate Management and is a Certified Public Accountant registered with ICPAK and a registered member of National Council of University Research Administrator (NCURA).
Selestine is the Director of East Africa Finance and Operations at Washington State University Global Health Program. She joined the team in the year 2016.
Selestine is an action oriented, visionary, and up to date seasoned Administrative Professional in International Grants Management with extensive experience in managing grants as the Primary Grants Manager. Currently working as the Director, East Africa Finance and Operations for Washington State University (WSU) Global Health Program in Kenya and Tanzania.
Selestine has Biomedical Research Grant Management (primarily United States’ Government funding from National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US Aid for International Development (USAID), and US Department of Defense’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)). December 2016 – Present. Directly managed over 25 – 30 research programs on communicable diseases annually, working as administrative focal person with six research scientists. Provided national leadership in grant budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
