
Dr. Felix Lankester
Dr. Felix Lankester is a veterinarian and clinical associate professor at the Paul G. Allen School for Global Health whose areas of professional interest include global health/One Health, zoonotic disease surveillance, and wildlife conservation. His current research interests include investigating pre-pandemic viruses emanating from wildlife species, infectious diseases that impact livestock/public health and livelihoods, and novel methods of rabies vaccine delivery.
Dr. Lankester divides his time between East Africa, the United Kingdom, and Pullman. He is the vice president of Global Animal Health – Tanzania, an NGO carrying out research on infectious diseases that impact livelihoods in East Africa, and a director of the Pandrillus Foundation, an organization located in Portland, Oregon, that implements primate conservation projects in Nigeria and Cameroon.
